NCL's President, COO Roberto Martinoli to Step Down

 Roberto Martinoli (pictured) has resigned as president and COO of Norwegian Cruise Line, effective Aug. 1, NCL confirmed. For personal reasons,Martinoli has accepted a position as CEO of a ferry company in his hometown of Genoa, Italy, where his family resides. He will also move into a consulting role for NCL, continuing to oversee the company’s newbuild program and assisting in other areas as necessary. “Roberto has been an incredible asset to the company over the past year, particularly in the building and launch of the Norwegian Epic,” NCL said. “Everyone at Norwegian Cruise Line wishes him well in his new role.” CEO Kevin Sheehan will take on the role of president, which he held prior to his appointment as CEO.
